hee, i wouldn’t worry, I make fun when I see reports from Cali and other southern states like ‘WHITE STUFF FALLING FROM SKY! WHAT DO! HOW TO DRIVE!’ seriously, mocking other people’s reactions to the weather’s universal :D

I will admit that I’m totally a spoiled California girl in that regard, because I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where the worst we ever had to worry about was frost on the ground on especially cold mornings. I remember one day when I was in middle school it “snowed” (aka a few flakes fell but didn’t stick) and we all got let out of class early to run around in it.

But seriously LA has like a full scale freak out every time it rains like half an inch. It’s hilarious.

Meanwhile, the same thing happens in East Canada: “THE SKY IS FALLING! SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR LOVED ONES!’ And then it’s all anyone talks about for the next 2 days.

I always laugh so hard when I see news reports about little baby earthquakes in other parts of the country. Like, some hysterical report about a 3.0 in Nebraska or something, because lololol seriously if it’s not a 5.0 or bigger don’t even talk to me about it.

Then again the same goes for whenever it rains in LA and the city has mass panic attacks about it. Grow up, SoCal.

I must say that Sherlock Holmes Granada series is the best Sherlock Holmes series from the XIX century (Sherlock BBC is the best from XXI). There is the wonderful work from the wonderful Jeremy Brett,but there is the wonderful work from two different,but wonderful Watsons. I can’t say if I like more David Burke or Edward Hardwicke, because I like, I love both.

Alright cool, I have a couple prompts that I really like and I can’t wait to turn them into ficlets. No problem, I should be able to have them done by today.

Oh but wait, what if I add this detail in? And a side-plot? Ooooh, what about another point of view, that’d be really cool. And I mean, I kind of have to examine how this character is feeling in this moment, it’s essential to telling the story properly.

Oh wait, what’s that? My ficlets are turning into full-length stories? When I already have a nearly novel-length story I’m already writing?

The worst part about writing is finally publishing something after working on it for way too long, and then anxiously sitting around and waiting for some kind of reaction that can never live up to what you want it to be.

Even worse still is when you do get a reaction, and you honestly can’t tell whether it’s a compliment or a backhanded insult.
